John is a consummate professional and a successful venture capitalist with rich investment portfolios in the Oil and Gas industry, fintech, hospitality, and healthcare services sector both home and abroad. He has several years of experience in providing strategic and financial leadership roles in various executive and non-executive directorship positions with Juwel Energy Ltd., JP Trustees Ltd., Juni Holdings LLC(USA), CMT(UK) and the Executive Heart Centre (EHC), among others and has impacted the consistent growth and profitability of these companies.
He is currently the CEO of JP Trustees Ltd., an Oil Marketing Company (OMC). Prior to this, he had worked as the CEO of Ebony Oil & Gas Limited, a Bulk Oil Distribution Company (BDC) as well as Oando Ghana Ltd. (an OMC) as the Marketing & Business Development Manager and the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) as a Refinery Engineer.
John obtained a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) and an MBA with specialization in Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA). He is a graduate with distinction from the prestigious London Business School and the Harvard Business School where he gained executive training and qualifications in Executive Leadership as well as Leading Change and Organizational Renewal. He holds professional qualification as a Certified Chartered Engineer from the Ghana Institute of Engineers.
John has widened his business acumen and demonstrated phenomenal interests in developing and investing in the next generation of leaders through mentorships, coaching and offering growth opportunities to young people.
