Gifty Ashiley is a seasoned Risk Analyst with over eight (8) years’ experience in Oil and Gas Management. She currently serves as the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer for JP Trustees Ltd. and Juwel Energy Ltd. She has also served in a similar role with Ebony Oil & Gas Limited, a Bulk Distribution Company (BDC) in Ghana.
She is a graduate of the London Business School where she received training in Operational Risk Management. She has been an active member in good standing with the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), and often attends their Annual Risk Management Convention usually held in New York.
Gifty’s previous career span a variety of roles in both the Upstream and Downstream sectors of the Oil & Gas industry, including local and international assignments. Her extensive career span has been with such multinationals as Schlumberger, Oando PLC, and GECAD Inc, partners of GE (General Electric, U.S.A).
Gifty holds a Masters of Business Administration, Finance option from University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) in Ghana.
Gifty is married with children.
